| "I knew from the minute that I first saw War Pony that he was something special. Here was the colt I'd been waiting for! ... that we could actualy breed a snowcap??? With his shoulder patches & the extent of white expression, he is pushing a near fewspot I've loved him from the moment he was born and as he matured his million-dollar personality, spunk, and great athletic ability were a dream come true. I was excited for what his future would hold and to see him make his mark in the Spanish Mustang world. Sometimes life throws you a curve ball and despite all your planning, blood, and sweat, things just don't turn out as planned. Due to changes in my own life and the horse industry as a whole, I've been forced to make some very painful decisions regarding the horses. It is with a heavy heart that Arrowrock Spanish Mustangs will be reducing the size of it's herd in the very near future. We will be keeping a small herd of riding and breeding horses.On a positive note, I've missed riding regularly and the one-on-one time I had with my horses when our numbers weren't so large. I'm looking forward to getting back to that, going into the future. War Pony, and his sire To-Bulls, have made outstanding contributions to our herd, the Spanish Mustang breed, and the Spanish LP project. The heart of our breeding program has been to continually move forward and evolve, always breeding only the best Spanish horses that we could, and retaining the finest of these, be they tobianos, Sorraias, or LP. |

War Pony's and To-bulls offspring are an important part of Arrowrock now and into the future. It
breaks my heart to part with any of my horses, but it's extremely difficult to part with these two. They
are such sweethearts and have had such a positive impact on my life! In fairness to them, they deserve
the chance to get out there and show the world what they are made of. And especially to each have their
own person. I can't give them that right now.
Congratulations to Brett Peckosh of Old Crow Ranch on his purchase of Absaroka War Pony! War Pony
will take the place of Brett's retiring Buffalo Days and Native American re-enactment horse, Blue. We
have retained a half-interest in War Pony, who will help to represent Arrowrock Spanish Mustangs and
the Spanish LP project in the Midwest, moving forward into the future.
