| Star Shadow was born in the Kiamichi mountains. She came to Arrow Rock as a yearling. Her dam, Car Maid, runs with Cherokee Bill II's band. They both have appy traits. Star Shadow has striped feet, mottled skin & white scelera, but she didn't snowflake out until she was three years old. The top left picture was shortly before Absaroka War Pony was born. She was grumpy & miserable.....& it showed. |
She obviously carries the gene that produces large blankets. She's one mare that will play a big part in the LP project. Her full sister & half sister are now here at Arrow Rock to take part in the LP Project !!! We should see LOTS of color in the future ! |
