I named this filly Hokawyn which means badger woman. It was soon apparent that I chose the right name
for her.
Her dam...one of my favorite mares, Ziggy, was attacked by wild dogs or something canine. She died from
her injuries so the filly became an orphan at eight weeks old. She sure is a trooper! She is eating fine but
I'm keeping her on milk replacer for the time being due to the stress of it all.
